Objectives
O1
Developing innovative data handling methods, including (i) virtual individual models, comprising the personal characteristics of an individual on a portfolio of health markers, including energy expenditure estimation, activity recognition or stress detection (ii) intelligent algorithms for the recognition of behavioural trends and detection of health risks, based on the intelligent processing of the collected data.

Designing an innovative sensor device open middleware, based on open standards, integrating big data from a wide number of sensors, some of them specifically designed in the DAPHNE project.

Designing an innovative Data Cloud platform, where different stakeholders (healthcare professionals, fitness centers, researchers, etc.) will be able to monitor the information that is collected through a web-based interface, consuming data-as-a-service for different specific applications.

Providing innovative security models and services that enable the exploitation of the platform to offer personal data in the cloud in a safe and ethical way.

Providing different personalised services that make use of the data from the DAPHNE cloud for different specific functions, such as decision support services, intervention services, and research services for overweight and obesity prevention.
